The Attitash Race Team is looking to add several coaches to our expanding program for the upcoming season. Based at Attitash Mountain Resort in Bartlett, NH, our program has grown to enroll almost 100 athletes, from U8’s to U16’s. We are excited to welcome new coaches to support each of these age groups.
Our coaches are the backbone of the team, bringing a love for skiing to this developmental program. We offer an excellent compensation and travel/education reimbursement package.
All candidates must be team oriented, enjoy working with kids ages 8-16 and have demonstrated a strong ski racing background. All coaches must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds while skiing.
Ideal candidates for U14’s and younger will have 2-4 years ski racing and/or coaching experience, Level 100+ US Ski & Snowboard Coach Certification or PSIA certification a plus. Candidates will be traveling to weekend races primarily in the Mount Washington Valley with occasional races throughout NH.
Ideal candidates for the U16’s will have a strong collegiate and/or FIS ski racing background or FIS coaching experience, Level 100+ US Ski & Snowboard coaching certification or willingness to obtain such certification is preferred. Candidates will be traveling to weekend races throughout NH and support select midweek U16 races.
Our program is a weekend program, starting in early November and ending late March. Normal daily program hours are 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as during school vacation weeks. The team is managed under the Attitash Alpine Educational Foundation and is a separate entity from Attitash Mountain Resort.
