We continue to develop the alpine racing athlete through USSki's Alpine Training System, as well as increasing the number of races seen as a U12 through the introduction of Super Giant Slalom (SG). U14s compete in USSki open races in the Mount Washington Valley and NHARA’s Eastern Division qualifier races to advance to state-wide competition and potential USSA Eastern Region sponsored races. Most training is focused on developing skills that will apply to GS and SL racing, with some training for SG events.
 
Equipment needs: a full-shell helmet that meets the FIS helmet standards; 1 pair of slalom (SL) skis; 1 pair of giant slalom (GS) skis; appropriate equipment for event specific training/racing.
